The Museums are designed by the architect Ricardo Camacho and are integrated with the minimalist aesthetic and environmentally sustainable landscape of the beautiful 220,000 square meter park, which includes lush greenery, a lake, an aviary, public art and walkways.

The Habitat and Memorial Museums are sister institutions which collectively aim to foster a public understanding of and appreciation for Kuwait’s natural resources and history, with an emphasis on remembering the past, nurturing the present and striving towards a dynamic future.
